Poppin Hyun Joon, a singer who also works as a performer, shared an update that he is recovering after surgery.

Recently, through his SNS (social networking service), Poppin Hyun Joon posted a photo from his hospital stay along with the message “Stay healthy”.

In the photo, Poppin Hyun Joon is wearing a hospital gown. His wife, gugak musician Park Ae-ri, who is caring for him, also appears by his side.

Through SNS, he added the explanation, “A gastric adenoma is a benign tumor that occurs in the gastric mucosa, but if left as is, it is a precancerous lesion with a very high likelihood of progressing to cancer”.

As colleagues and acquaintances expressed concern over the news of his surgery, Poppin Hyun Joon responded with a lighthearted reply.

Known as a singer and performer, Poppin Hyun Joon married gugak musician Park Ae-ri in 2011, and they have a daughter.
