‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’ broadcast capture

Park Seo-jin set aside pride for ‘Mr. House Husband’.

On the April 18 broadcast of KBS2 ‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’ (hereafter ‘Mr. House Husband’), his struggle to bring younger sister Hyo-jung back to Incheon was depicted, delivering cheerful laughs.

The episode opened with Park Seo-jin heading to Samcheonpo with a solemn expression, arousing curiosity. Feeling an airtime crisis for ‘Mr. House Husband’ due to Hyo-jung’s absence, he set out himself to bring his sister back. However, Hyo-jung, who was spending relaxed time in Samcheonpo under the care of her parents, was not easily persuaded.

When even a barrage of snacks did not work, Park proposed going together with “I am sorry,” taking a step back. He even set aside his pride for airtime, but the situation did not ease, and in the end he pressured Hyo-jung by saying, “If there is no airtime, I may have to leave Mr. House Husband,” adding laughter with emotions and attitudes that swung between extremes.

Changing tactics, Park Seo-jin dreamed of turning the tables by planning a family trip to Ulleungdo without Hyo-jung and even Seojin-ne Season 2. The highlights were the appearance of a neighborhood uncle and a video call with Chu Hyuk-jin. The uncle, who brought along his grandson, stirred envy and spurred Park’s parents, and Park began to burden Hyo-jung by introducing her partner Chu Hyuk-jin, whom he had met at the previous Mr. House Husband meeting, to their parents. Placed in an awkward situation and dreading being pestered by her parents, Hyo-jung decided to leave in a hurry and headed to Incheon with Park Seo-jin.

And it was revealed that all of this had been a meticulously prepared plan by Park Seo-jin. By even recruiting the neighborhood uncle and Chu Hyuk-jin to draw the bigger picture, the scheme devised by Park Seo-jin concluded in complete success.

The way Park Seo-jin alternated between a gambit that set aside pride and meticulous strategy to achieve the goal created a fresh kind of fun.
