tvN variety show ‘Gugi-dong Friends’

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun captivated viewers on ‘Gugi-dong Friends’ by showing an irreplaceable knack for variety.

On the April 17 broadcast of the tvN variety show ‘Gugi-dong Friends’, Ahn Jae-hyun’s warm everyday life and unpredictable exploits, having grown even closer with his housemate friends (friends he lives with), were depicted.

In this episode, Ahn tried to enjoy a rare evening to himself, but, reluctant to go to sleep, he headed to the living room. Going out to find snacks, he ran into Lee Da-hee, who had come for water, and the two formed an unexpected “late-night huddle” with the whiskey Jang Keun-suk had brought. The highlight came the next morning. When the whiskey’s owner, Jang Keun-suk, began to press them, Ahn, after only a moment of surprise, made everyone laugh by candidly confessing to his deed without a second’s hesitation, a stance of “lightning-fast acceptance.”

Additionally, in the “body age test” conducted with the members, Ahn once again proved a natural at variety. Though he took on the challenge with confidence, he lost his balance and toppled over in just six seconds, and his assessed body age was 55. Faced with the shocking result, even Ahn couldn’t hold back his laughter, reaffirming his status as a ‘variety show cheat code’.

Along with laughs, his thoughtful consideration for colleagues shone through. For Jang Do-yeon, who had just finished work, Ahn volunteered to team up with Jang Keun-suk to stage a surprise on her way home. His warm, attentive way of looking after a colleague was a perfect addition to the show’s healing vibe.
