Singer Lee Young-ji candidly admitted to a procedure.
On the 19th, at Inspire Arena in Incheon, she appeared as a guest at the show by the SEVENTEEN unit Dokyeom·Seungkwan, ‘DXS [Soyagok] On Stage’. Wearing sunglasses as she took the stage, she joined in performing the song ‘Fightinghaeya-ji’ by Buseoksoon, lifting the atmosphere.
On stage, she directly explained why she wore sunglasses. “I did not come to the concert of my seniors wearing sunglasses rudely” and “I had under-eye fat repositioning surgery a few days ago. Since this is a concert by seniors I hold in the highest esteem, I am saying this in case you misunderstand,” she confided. At the unexpected admission, the venue burst into laughter, and Seungkwan quipped, “Why would you say that!”, further boosting the mood.
Afterward, Lee also shared her feelings through a fan platform. “To be honest, I did under-eye fat repositioning. I was not going to say it because I worried it might look like I was encouraging it” and “It is the first and last time in my life. I did it after 4 years of deliberation.” She added, “People kept asking if I was tired even when I was not, so that was always a concern,” explaining why she decided on the surgery.
Meanwhile, Lee recently announced the return of the popular web variety show ‘Though I Have Practically Nothing Prepared’. She said, “Two weeks left until the broadcast” and added, “I went off the grid for a year and a half, thank you to the 4.04 million who did not leave and waited,” heightening anticipation among fans.
