Broadcaster Park Mi-seon, who is battling breast cancer, is making a comeback after 1 year and 6 months.
On the 20th, the team behind MBN's new variety show ‘Other People's House: Precious Family’ (hereafter ‘Precious Family’) announced, “Park Mi-seon will stand before viewers in good health through ‘Precious Family’.”
‘Precious Family’ is a family-observation reality program that follows the daily lives of various celebrity families, capturing moments where laughter and tears, love and conflict coexist. Through the perspective of looking into ‘other people's houses’, it aims to highlight the essence of relationships and offer a chance to reflect on the meaning and value of family through the lives of others.
Previously, Park Mi-seon had temporarily halted her activities due to battling breast cancer and is returning with ‘Precious Family’. This marks her return after about 1 year and 6 months since TV Chosun's ‘Now I Am Alone’, which ended in December 2024.
In this program, Park Mi-seon appears with her husband Lee Bong-won to share updates and daily life that many have been curious about. With her signature empathy and realistic perspective anchoring the program, the real-life stories unique to the long-loved ‘Park Mi-seon-Lee Bong-won’ couple are expected to offer viewers both deep resonance and laughter as key points to watch.
The production team stated, “Not only the couple Park Mi-seon and Lee Bong-won, but in each episode we plan to naturally capture differences in family perspectives and the process of understanding through the stories of various families,” adding, “Through this, we will deliver warm empathy and lingering resonance to viewers.”
‘Other People's House: Precious Family’ will premiere on MBN in June.
