KBS2 ‘Secret of the Celebrity Soldier’
Airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 21st, KBS2 ‘Secret of the Celebrity Soldier’ takes a deep dive into the brutal assassination and the raw face of desire hidden behind the splendor of the ‘Gucci(GUCCI)’ family, a luxury brand loved around the world.
In March 1995, in the heart of downtown Milan, Italy, Gucci heir Maurizio Gucci was shot dead on his way to work. The assailant, with meticulousness reminiscent of the Mafia, even carried out a finishing shot. Broadcaster Cristina, who lived near the scene at age 14, conveys the vivid mood of a moment that shocked all of Italy, saying, “A quiet affluent neighborhood was plunged into fear in an instant.”
The case, which had fallen into a dead end, was exposed after two years through one detective's undercover operation. The mastermind, surprisingly, was his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani.
