Comedian Kim Mi-ryeo opened up about her married life with her husband.
Appearing on the YouTube show ‘New Woman’ released on the 21st, Kim Mi-ryeo talked about her 13th year of marriage with actor Jung Sung-yoon and how they raise their two children. Speaking about her husband Jung Sung-yoon, Kim confessed, “He is full of vigor. I have cooled a little, but it seems he still likes me just as much. Even just a touch makes him that way.” She went on, “We use separate rooms, but just because we sometimes share a bed does not mean we only do it there,” and candidly added, “We mainly target the kitchen,” leaving Lee Sun-min in a panic.
Recalling her first meeting with Jung Sung-yoon, Kim said, “We first happened to greet each other at an MT for a radio program, and after that we had something like a not-quite-dating phase for about six months. At some point, the look in his eyes changed. Even so, for six months we had no physical contact at all,” adding, “There was also a gathering on December 23, and he said he would take me home; then he kissed me in front of my place. In effect, that meant we officially started dating.” She continued, “The very next day, on Christmas Eve, there was a party at my home, so we got together again. That day we let out everything we had held back for six months,” drawing big laughs.

After dating officially for about two years, the two married in 2013. A year later they had their first daughter, and in 2018 their second child, a son, and they are now a happy family of four. Before marriage, her husband Jung Sung-yoon had been active as an actor in commercials, dramas, and films, but afterward he reduced his projects and focused on childcare and housework. In turn, Kim Mi-ryeo became more active in broadcasting.
When Lee Kyung-sil asked, “Does your husband get stressed about you single-handedly handling the economic activity?” Kim replied, “Because I worry he might feel stressed, I always tell him, ‘You are my man whom I love, and because you are here, I can work this hard and raise our children in good health.’” She added, “Fortunately, he understands me very well, trusts me, and is very considerate.” Kim also confessed her true feelings about her husband, saying, “Even if I were born again, I would want to marry this man.”
That day, Kim shared boundary-pushing, spicy talk, including an unbelievable episode she experienced because her husband still has strong desires and guidance on proper sex education for their two children. In line with the guest, Lee Kyung-sil and Cho Hye-ryeon also delivered delightful point gags.
Meanwhile, ‘New Woman’ has partially revamped its format, breaking away from the conventional studio to create a new atmosphere and allow more relaxed conversations. Not only are the cheerful and meaningful chats of Lee Kyung-sil and Cho Hye-ryeon on display, but Lee Sun-min and the guests are also creating a distinctive chemistry that is winning great affection.
