MBN ‘Korea-Japan King of Singers’
Singer Jeon Yu-jin appeared on ‘Korea-Japan King of Singers’ as a member of the celebrity judging panel and displayed quick wit.
On the 21st, Jeon Yu-jin appeared on MBN’s broadcast of ‘2026 Korea-Japan King of Singers’ as part of the celebrity panel. The broadcast, following the previous week, proceeded with the ‘Scouting Round-100-Second Round’ and the first main-round match, the ‘1-on-1 Impromptu Selection’.
Having served as a special judge during last week’s ‘Scouting Round-100-Second Round’, Jeon moved to the celebrity judging panel once the ‘1-on-1 Impromptu Selection’ began, taking part even more actively in the program.
With her rich commentary and quick, sensible reactions, she added to the show’s entertainment. In particular, after Gu Su-gyeong’s ‘Love of a Thousand Years’ stage ended, when Park Seo-jin joked, “Is the ‘gu’ in Gu Su-gyeong the same ‘gu’ as in ‘oral cavity’?”, she deftly replied, “It is probably the ‘mouth’ gu,” bringing laughter to the scene.
Also, after the main-stage performance by Japan’s Arakawa Karen, she expressed admiration, saying, “It is unbelievable that a middle school student can have that kind of soul.” Then, while waiting for the result after Lee Su-yeon’s stage, she said, “It would not have been strange no matter who won,” eliciting viewers’ empathy.

Jeon Yu-jin comes from the Pohang Beach National Song Festival and debuted in March 2020 by releasing the digital single ‘Love... Will You?’.
