Actor Han Da-gam, 47, has become an expectant mother six years into her marriage.
On the 28th, Han Da-gam posted a handwritten letter on Instagram, stating, “I debuted in my twenties and kept racing straight ahead; I got married at 41, and in the sixth year of marriage this year, by a blessing from above, I have conceived a child,” personally announcing her pregnancy.
She said, “I still cannot believe it, but I have become the oldest expectant mother in the entertainment industry,” adding, “Judging from cases so far, I may be the oldest mother-to-be among current actresses. I am so grateful for this great blessing and gift at such a late time.”

She also revealed the extraordinary effort involved in the process of becoming pregnant. Han Da-gam explained, “After finishing a play last year, I wanted to achieve the best possible outcome, so I began visiting the hospital in advance and prepared meticulously, and as a result, I am grateful to have succeeded with just one round of in vitro fertilization,” adding, “The many years of diligent exercise and doing my utmost to manage my diet seem to have helped a great deal.”
Born in 1980, Han Da-gam tied the knot in 2020 with a businessman one year her senior after dating for about a year. Thanks to her rigorous self-care and health management, she has been able to carry her first child in good health even at the late age of 47.
She has now entered the stable period of pregnancy, and her due date is this fall. Han Da-gam said, “The stage that required extra caution has passed, so I am exercising as usual and handling my broadcast schedule perfectly,” adding, “It feels like the time has truly come to step into the second act of my life. As the oldest expectant mother, I will pay even closer attention to care and proceed cautiously as I walk into this second life.”
Meanwhile, Han Da-gam has steadily continued her acting career, appearing in the dramas ‘Assi Durian’ and ‘Celebrity’. With the film ‘Jeom-rye Is My Light’ set for release, she is slated to meet audiences, and she plans to carry out all scheduled commitments without disruption until childbirth, including her current work as a model for a golfwear brand.

it seems this is my first time posting a message.
I debuted in my twenties and kept racing forward, and at 41 I

I am so, so grateful, and I wanted to share this wondrous moment with you, which is why I am posting this.
