Actor Kim Sa-rang shared subscribers’ reactions after revealing she had suffered from shoddy interior construction work.

On the 28th, a video titled ‘Kim Sa-rang Decides to Go on a Diet While Reading Comments (+ outing to cherry blossom hotspots with her dog)’ was released on Kim Sa-rang’s YouTube channel.

That day, Kim Sa-rang visited a park in full cherry blossom bloom with her pet dog and spent some leisurely time. She then took a moment to read comments posted on her YouTube channel.

One subscriber commented, “What on earth happened with that construction? I can’t believe even Kim Sa-rang, who has money and fame, fell victim to it. I thought things like that only happened to nameless, powerless ordinary citizens.”

Reading this, Kim Sa-rang smiled and said, “I’m an ordinary citizen too.” She added, “I got teary-eyed reading this comment,” and the production staff expressed surprise, saying, “It even made an MBTI ‘T’ type cry.”

Kim Sa-rang said, “So many people have been comforting me about the interior issue,” and continued, “It wasn’t to the level of a petition, but I was going to write an email to the Minister of Justice along the lines of, ‘It seems the interior industry needs some rules.’ Companies must have their reasons too, right? Having something like that would be good for everyone. There must be interior contractors who are decent, and they wouldn’t want to carry a scammer image, would they?”

She then thanked the subscribers who offered support, saying, “I almost burst into tears reading your comments. Thank you so much.”

Earlier, in a video released last month, Kim Sa-rang revealed for the first time the country house where she lives. At the time, she said, “I used to be the type to pay attention to interior design, but I got exhausted in the process, so now I don’t pay much attention and just live roughly.” She continued, “I suffered through the interior work and felt a lot of stress. The rain leaked in and things even became rotten because of it. So I even laid pet pee pads on the floor and lived like that,” confessing that she had gone through shoddy construction.
