Even after a performance ends, there are times when a single move keeps lingering. You start to imitate it, you watch it again, and in the end the feeling itself is carried over.

The team that creates those moments, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, is the focus of this thirteenth column. Their music touches the emotions of peers moving through their early twenties. A time of wavering before career paths and jobs, of losing direction while stepping into society. Anxiety and growth, relationships and choices. A state of staying without belonging fully anywhere. Those emotions flow into performance.

Leading international music outlets also read their work as emotion-centered narratives

The United Kingdom global music outlet NME describes TOMORROW X TOGETHER's music as ‘youthful angst’ and ‘coming-of-age storytelling’, interpreting their performance as a story that follows feeling, and Billboard likewise regards it not as simple choreography but as a storytelling method that conveys emotion.

The recently released EP title track ‘Stick With You’ also stands on that same continuum. A relationship one wishes to hold on to, time one wants to extend just a little longer. The song does not explain. Instead, it leaves it unsaid. And that feeling remains as a moment.

Performance turns those emotions into scenes

A hand reaches out then stops; movements that connect yet do not close. A state where it should be cut off but cannot be. Rather than hitting everything exactly, the flow leaves a little room. Emotion comes alive in this whitespace.

That movement does not end onstage

Briefly clipped moves are repeated on social platforms and spread as shorts so anyone can follow. It goes beyond copying the moves to sharing the feeling itself.

With ‘Stick With You’, TOMORROW X TOGETHER recorded five wins on domestic music programs and rose to number three on the Billboard 200, proving the power of their performance.
