Kim Do-yeon of the group I.O.I personally revealed the behind-the-scenes of the ‘kiss scene’ with Jeon Somi.

On the 6th, Kim Do-yeon shared behind-the-scenes details about the kiss scene in the teaser video via the fan communication platform ‘PlusChat’.

When a fan asked, “How did you feel when you first received the storyboard?”, Kim Do-yeon said, “Believe it or not, this was my idea,” and explained, “The original reference was a cute cheek-smacking shot, but we changed it to a kiss instead of a hit.”

Afterward, a reaction reel to the teaser was posted on the official I.O.I SNS account. In that video, Kim Do-yeon and Jeon Somi reenacted the scene from the teaser, turning up the heat.

Earlier at midnight that day, I.O.I released the music video teaser for the title track ‘Suddenly’ from the third mini-album ‘I.O.I : LOOP(I.O.I : Loop)’ via its official SNS channel. The video shows Jeon Somi approaching Kim Do-yeon and kissing her without warning, after which the title phrase ‘Suddenly’ appears.

Meanwhile, I.O.I will make a comeback by releasing the third mini album ‘I.O.I : LOOP’ at 6 p.m. on the 19th via various online music platforms.
