Royal Streamer

The rookie band VO1D (Void) is joining the ‘Royal Universe’ universe, accelerating efforts to expand its global IP with XR concerts and more.

VO1D, a five-member band under IX Entertainment, unveiled their virtual SD characters, their alter egos, for the first time at the ‘2026 World IT Show’ held last April, signaling the start of full-fledged activities as a ‘Twin Artist’ bridging reality and the virtual.

The project is structured so that the real-world artists and their virtual characters are linked as a single IP while each retains an independent narrative. In the real world, the band continues its musical activities as a band, while within the Royal Universe the SD characters operate with their own narratives and roles, adding depth to the artist IP.

Debuting last March with their first mini album ‘[01]’, VO1D has pursued a narrative in which music, visuals, and performance are interconnected. Joining this virtual universe likewise aligns with the team’s strategy to deliver a consistent narrative experience across both reality and the virtual.

At the recent exhibition, immersive interactive content staged an encounter between the members and the characters in the same space, heightening expectations for activities to unfold going forward.

IX Entertainment and Royal Streamer stated, ‘VO1D’s joining this universe is an attempt to connect the artist IP not merely to musical activities but to a virtual realm with boundless scalability,’ adding, ‘On this basis, we will carry out global activities on multiple fronts, including XR (extended reality) concerts set against the backdrop of the Royal Universe.’

Having declared a full-scale expansion of its universe, VO1D plans to continue communicating with fans by sequentially unveiling differentiated content that moves between reality and the virtual across multiple platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.
