KATSEYE’s ‘PINKY UP’ has successfully remained on the U.S. Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart for three consecutive weeks. Alongside the new single, catalog tracks such as ‘Gabriela’ and ‘Touch’ are also enjoying concurrent popularity.
HYBE-Geffen Records’ global girl group KATSEYE(KATSEYE) is showcasing formidable popularity by placing both new releases and past works across the main U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest U.S. Billboard charts released on the 5th (dated May 9), KATSEYE’s ‘PINKY UP’ ranked No. 71 on the ‘Hot 100’. After previously peaking at No. 28 to set the group’s best debut on the chart, the song has now secured a third consecutive week on the ‘Hot 100’.
On the Billboard ‘Global 200’, which ranks songs by combining worldwide online streaming and digital download data, it placed at No. 62. The Latin pop track ‘Gabriela(Gabriela)’, released last June, also ranked No. 125 on this chart, extending its ‘long-running’ popularity into a 45th week.
KATSEYE’s presence stands out on the album charts as well. Their second EP, ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS(Beautiful Chaos)’, which reached No. 4 on the ‘Billboard 200’ (chart dated July 12, 2025), landed at No. 113, marking 44 consecutive weeks on the chart. The debut EP ‘SIS(Soft Is Strong)’, released in August 2024, also re-entered this week’s ‘Billboard 200’ at No. 168, drawing attention.
These results for KATSEYE are seen as influenced by their standout showing at ‘Record Store Day’, held annually on the third Saturday of April by the U.S. Independent Record Shop Association (CIMS). During this period, KATSEYE released a limited-edition pressing and placed No. 14 on this year’s ‘Record Store Day’ sales chart. Having established themselves as artists recognized by both local record collectors and the general public, they appear to have drawn parallel interest not only for the new limited release but also for their catalog.
Beyond Billboard, KATSEYE has strengthened its footing across various global charts. On the latest UK ‘Official Singles Top 100’ (for May 17), ‘PINKY UP’ ranked No. 42 and ‘Touch(Touch)’ ranked No. 82. On Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ (for April 2430), ‘PINKY UP’ placed at No. 61 and ‘Gabriela(Gabriela)’ at No. 111, winning strong support from music fans.
KATSEYE is a group that debuted in the United States in 2024 under HYBE’s strategy of ‘multi-home, multi-genre(Multi-home, multi-genre)’, led by Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk, based on a ‘K-pop methodology’. Less than two years into their debut, they were nominated for the ‘68th Grammy Awards’ and the ‘2026 American Music Awards’, and they are set to release their third EP, ‘WILD(Wild)’, this coming August.
