DEAN and Anderson .Paak unveiled the cover for their collaborative single, their first in about 11 years since ‘Put My Hands On You’ in 2015.

The collaborative single [Aftertaste] by alternative R&B artist DEAN and ‘nine-time Grammy winner’ Anderson .Paak will be released on the 8th.

Universal Music Korea said, “The cover art and the release date for the collaborative single by DEAN and Anderson .Paak have been revealed,” and added, “DEAN and Anderson .Paak informed fans of the collaboration directly via a social-media co-author post (collaboration).”

They heightened expectations by sequentially unveiling teaser videos for the collaboration on the social channels of Anderson .Paak. With the cover art now revealed, the single has taken on a clearer shape.

DEAN is a singer-songwriter and producer who represents Korean alternative R&B. Through tracks such as ‘instagram’ and ‘D (Half Moon)’, he has built a distinctive musical world, and with the EP [130 mood: TRBL], he presented a turning point for Korean R&B.

Anderson .Paak is a Korean American artist with nine Grammy Award wins. The two first worked together on the 2015 single ‘Put My Hands On You’ by DEAN, and they have reunited after 11 years.

The new track is scheduled for simultaneous worldwide release at 1 p.m. (KST) on May 8.
