Actor Im Soo-hyang, who has shown a distinct passion for environmental protection and running, will hold a meaningful event on June 5 to commemorate ‘World Environment Day’.

Sublime, the agency of Im Soo-hyang, announced on the 7th that, together with the environmental group ‘People Who Wipe the Earth,’ she will hold the trash-free mini marathon ‘Suhyang X Mini Muhae Run’ at Yeouido Hangang Park on May 30.

This event was prompted by the direct participation of Im Soo-hyang in the ‘2026 Muhae Run’ held on April 5. Deeply agreeing with the purpose of the ‘Muhae Run,’ which combines environmental protection and running, she planned and joined this ‘Mini Muhae Run’ to share that aim with more people to mark World Environment Day. In particular, the event gained added meaning as it was arranged with a portion of the proceeds from a flea market she previously held, which she donated to ‘People Who Wipe the Earth’.

‘Suhyang X Mini Muhae Run’ will take place at Yeouido Hangang Park on May 30 (Sat) from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. After running together for about 5km, participants will carry out plogging activities to pick up nearby litter.

Im Soo-hyang conveyed a heartfelt invitation, saying, “To commemorate World Environment Day, I kindly ask for much interest from those who would like to join in polishing the Earth through a 5km mini marathon and plogging.”

After making her running debut through her appearance on MBN ‘Run to Live 2,’ which ended in February this year, Im Soo-hyang has continued activities with running crews, spreading healthy energy.

Applications to participate will be taken via the official Instagram of ‘People Who Wipe the Earth (Wipers),’ and the application period runs from 8:00 p.m. on May 8 (Fri) to 11:59 p.m. on May 15 (Fri).

Meanwhile, in addition to her main work as an actor, Im Soo-hyang has steadily focused on environmental and social issues, exerting a positive influence.
