Actor Kim Young-jae continues his busy run with ‘21st-Century Grand Prince Consort’.
Kim Young-jae will make a special appearance in the MBC FridaySaturday drama ‘21st-Century Grand Prince Consort’ (screenplay by Yoo Ji-won, directed by Park Joon-hwa·Bae Hee-young, planned by Kang Dae-seon, produced by MBC·Kakao Entertainment). ‘21st-Century Grand Prince Consort’ is a status-defying romance set against the backdrop of a 21st-century constitutional monarchy Republic of Korea, about a woman who has everything as a conglomerate heiress yet feels annoyed because her status is that of a commoner, and a man who is the son of the king yet is sad because he can obtain nothing, as they carve out their destinies.
The recently aired episode 8 recorded ratings of 11.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 11.2% nationwide (Nielsen Korea), continuing its steep ascent. It has firmly established itself as a powerhouse that has captivated living-room audiences this spring, consistently maintaining top-tier positions in domestic and overseas buzz indicators.
