‘Gangnam Style’ is back!.
Psy once again proves his standing as an ‘original K-pop icon’ on a program that highlights the worldwide popularity of K-pop today.
This comes via the new documentary series ‘K-Everything’, which will air on CNN International starting on the 9th (Korea time).
‘K-Everything’ is a program that sheds light on the global influence and roots of Korean culture, which has been leading recent worldwide cultural trends, and it is hosted by actor and producer Daniel Dae Kim. In four parts, it explores K-pop, dramas, food, beauty, and other aspects of Korean culture loved around the world.
In the K-pop segment, Psy will sit down with Daniel Dae Kim to share his views on trends in the popularity of K-pop and on the global superfan phenomenon propelling the industry.

On the 6th, a teaser clip for the series opener featuring Psy was also released via official CNN social channels.
The clip not only captures the full heat of the ‘Heumppeok Show’ by Psy, but also draws attention with a candid confession from Psy to the question from Daniel Dae Kim, “How long did you savor the success of ‘Gangnam Style’?”: “As a singer, it is forever, but as someone who makes songs, dreams and nightmares coexist. ‘How could I possibly create an outcome better than this song?’”
Meanwhile, the ‘K-Everything’ episode featuring Psy will premiere at 9 p.m. on the 9th on the CNN International channel. The four-part series will stream live each week for CNN International pay-TV subscribers via CNN.com, CNN Connected TV, and the CNN mobile app. In Korea, it can be viewed on Coupang Play, and globally, in regions where available, on the HBO Max streaming service.
