Actor Han Min will showcase a new side through ‘Becoming a Legendary Military Cook’.

On the 7th, the agency King Kong by Starship stated, “Han Min has been confirmed to appear in the TVING original ‘Becoming a Legendary Military Cook’ (written by Choi Ryong, directed by Cho Nam-hyung, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Studio Dragon·Studio N, provided by TVING) as ‘Lee Min-gu’. Please look forward to and show interest in Han Min, who will present a distinctive transformation.”

‘Becoming a Legendary Military Cook’ is a military cooking fantasy drama that depicts the process of Private Kang Seong-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon), who swaps a rifle for a kitchen knife and an ammo belt for an apron, becoming a ‘legendary military cook’. Amid this, Han Min takes on the role of ‘Lee Min-gu’, the head of support at the 1st Battalion Headquarters of the 60th Regiment, 29th Division, and the faithful right-hand man to Baek Chun-ik (played by Jung Woong-in). Min-gu is an ambitious figure who will do anything for a promotion; he keeps a sharp eye on the new recruit Seong-jae and is expected to heighten the tension by engaging in fierce psychological warfare with fellow recruit Hwang Seok-ho (played by Lee Sang-yi).

Han Min has continued to deliver eye-catching performances in each project, imprinting his presence on viewers. After perfectly embodying the royal guard officer ‘Seo Jae-il’, who assists the king, with his own charismatic image in SBS ‘Guigung’, he also significantly heightened the tension in JTBC ‘A Good Man’ by playing ‘Cheon Ho’, a member of a rival organization to Park Seok-cheol (played by Lee Dong-wook). With such solid acting across diverse works, attention is focused on what new facets Han Min will present in ‘Becoming a Legendary Military Cook’.

Meanwhile, the TVING original ‘Becoming a Legendary Military Cook’, featuring Han Min alongside Park Ji-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Han Dong-hee, Lee Hong-nae, Lee Sang-yi, and more, will have its first release on TVING and tvN at 8:50 p.m. on the 11th (Mon).
