Hollywood star Millie Bobby Brown has been chosen as a Brita ambassador.
The water filtration brand Brita has named actor Millie Bobby Brown as its first global ambassador and will unveil the global campaign ‘Own Your Thing(“In my own way, true to myself”)’ on the 8th.
Through global hits, including playing Eleven, the lead in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, Millie Bobby Brown has built broad recognition and has proactively forged her own path from a young age. As she represents Gen Z values that emphasize authenticity and self-direction, Brita plans through this collaboration to drive both brand perception and interest in the category, focusing on younger generations.
By launching the global campaign ‘Own Your Thing’, Brita redefines hydration not as a purely functional act of consumption but as a self-care routine closely connected to modern daily life. The campaign emphasizes how people create balance through everyday habits and choices, presenting hydration as part of a more intentional and sustainable lifestyle.
The campaign was designed to raise understanding of the water purification and hydration category and expand touchpoints to consumer segments it had not previously reached. Building on six decades of German water purification technology, Brita plans to propose hydration as a practice that links healthy everyday life with responsible personal consumption, thereby expanding demand.
The ‘Own Your Thing’ campaign will launch simultaneously in global markets and roll out across various channels, including digital video, social platforms, and streaming. Drawing on her daily life and values, Millie Bobby Brown will deliver the message that caring for oneself starts with simple practices such as drinking enough water, offering a new perspective on self-care.
Markus Hankammer, CEO of the Brita Group, said, “The goal of this campaign is to deliver, together with Millie Bobby Brown, a message about modern hydration to consumers around the world,” adding, “Brita will help make hydration a more intentional and sustainable part of everyday life.”
