The Korea e-Sports Association will host the ‘2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games’ e-sports national team selection trials on the 9th and 10th at the Busan e-Sports Stadium (Busanjin-gu, Busan).

This event is the official national team selection trials, held as Busan Metropolitan City has been designated the partner city for the Asian Games e-sports national team.

The disciplines comprise four titles: ▲Puyo Puyo Champions ▲Honor of Kings ▲Identity V ▲Pokemon UNITE. ‘Puyo Puyo Champions’ will be conducted as an individual event, with group-stage leagues, semifinals, and a final to determine the overall winner. ‘Honor of Kings’ and ‘Pokemon UNITE’ will be decided by team-based finals, and ‘Identity V’ will determine the champion through group preliminaries and a final.

The trials will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of the Korea e-Sports Association and the Busan e-Sports Stadium YouTube channel. A lucky-draw event for on-site spectators and interactive events for online viewers will also take place to add to the enjoyment.

Association President Kim Young-man said, “We are honored that the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games national team selection trials, which will select the best players to carry forward the glory of the Hangzhou Asian Games, are being held in Busan Metropolitan City”, and added, “We will continue to strengthen support together with partner city Busan so that the athletes can uphold the standing of the Republic of Korea on the international stage”.
