Nasol Sage Season 25 contestant Youngja is drawing attention as her remarks and recent moves appear to diverge.
On the May 7 broadcast of SBS Plus and ENA's I Am SOLO, Then Love Continues (hereinafter Nasol Sage), the Solo Guesthouse - One More Special cast used their Nasol Sage date passes to accelerate last-minute romance.
That day, Season 20 contestant Youngsik asked Youngja specific questions on their date, including views on marriage, plans for children, and whether she would engage in influencer activities. Having previously expressed a negative stance toward influencer activity, Youngsik appeared sensitive about the sincerity of appearing on I Am SOLO.
In response, Season 25 Youngja drew a line, saying, "I have accepted sponsorships before because I thought they were a 'sweet deal,' but I don't intend to be an influencer," and, "I won't do it going forward. I didn't come on the show for publicity. I'm going to focus on my work." She added, however, "I will do things that could help my achievements."

However, it was recently revealed that Season 25 Youngja joined an MCN agency, drawing attention. The agency's official social media announced her signing along with a photo of her. The company is known as an 'influencer agency' that partners with creators to support content planning, ad sales, and monetization. It is also known to represent announcer Kwak Min-sun and actors Cheon I-seul and Min Do-hee.
After this news broke, some viewers offered negative speculation such as, "Youngja is being pushed by her agency now. She came on purely to promote," and, "After all that, she even changed her real name and joined an MCN agency."
Meanwhile, as real-life couple rumors about the two continue online, attention is also focused on where their relationship will head and whether Season 20 Youngsik, who had opposed influencer activities, has ultimately changed his mind for love.
