Swings disclosed an anecdote about having suffered about $37,500 (50,000,000 KRW) in losses due to a stolen corporate card.

On the 7th, the YouTube channel of comedian Lee Eun-ji posted a video titled ‘Swings being swindled out of 50 million won by an unknown woman (feat. Lee Eun-ji, Mimi, Kim Dae-ho)’. In the video, Swings, singer Mimi, and broadcaster Kim Dae-ho appeared and shared various stories about money and dating.

While discussing the theme of ‘the cost of love’, Swings said, “I tend to just spend money on women for fun.” When Mimi asked whether he gives a card to a partner, Swings said, “I have a story with a twist,” and recounted a past episode.

Swings said, “When the company checked the corporate card statements, someone had spent about 50 million won over six months,” and added, “Because all the charges were at hair salons or shops, the staff assumed our artists had used it and let it pass.” However, becoming suspicious, his manager contacted a shop in Gangnam and learned that the card user was a woman in her late 20s.

He said, “The woman said, ‘Swings oppa told me to use it,’” and continued, “When the manager checked again, she claimed she had received the card when she and Swings shared a table at a drinking gathering.”

He went on, “Thinking about it, I had lost the corporate card six months earlier but did not suspend it. There were two cards linked to the same account, so I did not think much of it,” adding, “With no particular restrictions, the amount spent kept growing.”

Swings revealed, “In the end, the woman agreed to repay in installments and paid it all back over about three years,” drawing surprise.
