Nexon will open the main stage of the official esports tournament for the online FPS game ‘Sudden Attack’, ‘2026 Sudden Attack Championship Season 1’, at 5 p.m. on the 9th.
Under the slogan ‘Sudden Attack Championship, Turn the Competition ON’, the event returns with an expanded scale featuring a total prize pool of 80 million won and will run at 5 p.m. every Saturday across eight installments through June 27. The main stage can be attended at Samsung FreakUp Studio, with the finals at Jamsil DN Coliseum, and it can also be viewed on the official ‘SOOP’ channel of ‘Sudden Attack’ as well as the official YouTube channel. Starting with this tournament, a data-driven analysis desk will be presented during the broadcast to offer a fresh layer of entertainment for viewers.
Matches will follow an eight-team double-elimination format, with ‘Palace’ as the fixed map for set 1. Additional maps include ‘3rd Supply Depot’, ‘Dragon Road’, ‘Provence’, ‘City Cat’, and ‘Cross Port’. For each set, the losing team may choose the map for the next game.
