The rookie idol group NAZE(NAZE) delivered an overwhelming debut stage that signaled a shake-up in the idol landscape, unveiling ‘People Talk’ for the first time.
With explosive, stage-commanding energy and a refined team color, NAZE made its opening statement. NAZE (Kaisei, Yoon-gi, Ato, Turn, Yuya, Kim Geon, Dohyeok) appeared on KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ on the 8th, presenting for the first time on a music show the stage for the title track ‘People Talk(People Talk)’ from its first mini album ‘NAZE(NAZE)’, successfully marking its debut.
In an interview with the MCs before the stage, NAZE said, “We are overwhelmed and delighted to finally debut. Our stage will be beyond imagination, so please look forward to it,” showing both fresh rookie charm and bold confidence.
They then surprised viewers by unveiling a skilled yo-yo performance set to the rhythm of the debut track ‘People Talk’, and added a determined resolution: “We will pour out our natural, unfiltered charm on stage just as we are.”
On the main stage, NAZE proved flawless teamwork with a vibrant performance grounded in solid, unwavering fundamentals. Moving beyond simple synchronized formations, they rendered a hip mood in three dimensions through relaxed eye contact among the members and assured stage manners. Above all, lively footwork that maximized the sense of rhythm to the addictive melody brought the groove of the song to life, and the witty signature move matched to the ‘People Talk’ chorus left a powerful, lingering impression.
Unveiled ambitiously by C9 Entertainment for the first time in about five years, NAZE densely captures the story of a brilliant, vivid ‘this very moment’ set against the backdrop of ‘Seoul’ in its first mini album ‘NAZE’. Rather than vague fantasies, NAZE delicately sings about relatable, real emotions such as curiosity, happiness, and courage, clearly imprinting a team identity that is both free-spirited and assured.
The title track ‘People Talk’ begins with a bouncy piano melody that lingers in the ear, then adds a rhythmic beat and a stylish vocal chop (Vocal Chop) to deliver a thrilling auditory pleasure to listeners, in the dance-pop genre. NAZE smoothly conveys the overwhelming feeling of plunging headfirst into a happy moment with a captivating tone.
Having wrapped a successful debut stage, NAZE plans to continue active promotions across various music shows and content. In particular, on June 5, they will hold a special presentation for domestic fans, continuing an original course that breaks existing molds and further heightening anticipation.
