‘The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards’
Actor Shin Se-kyung clinched a Baeksang trophy through the film ‘Humint’, proving the depth she has built over the years.
On the 8th at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the winner of Best Supporting Actress in the film category at the ‘62nd Baeksang Arts Awards’ was Shin Se-kyung of ‘Humint’. Called among formidable nominees, Shin Se-kyung stepped onto the stage looking dazed.
Shin Se-kyung said, “I never thought I would receive this. I am truly grateful,” adding, “I thank all the actors I worked with and the ‘Humint’ team.”
She then shared reflections from her long time as an actor, evoking poignancy. Shin Se-kyung said, “Over quite some time doing this work, I am grateful to the many people, my family, and friends who helped me grow into a fairly healthy person,” and added, “On site today I ran into many people from companies I used to be with, and I also want to express my thanks to everyone at every company I passed through.”
She did not forget a heartfelt message to her fans. Shin Se-kyung said, “I am an actor with a slow pace, but I am grateful to the fans who have quietly waited for me,” and wrapped up the stage with an impressive remark: “I have grown well, I am living well, and I ask for your continued support going forward.”
In ‘Humint’, Shin Se-kyung calibrated the film’s tension with a dense performance, earning praise from both audiences and critics.
