‘The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards’

Actor Hyun Bin clinched the Baeksang Best Actor trophy, once again reaching the pinnacle of his acting career. In particular, the affectionate support from his wife Son Ye-jin, seated in the audience, was captured, suffusing the awards hall with a rosy glow.

On the 8th at COEX D Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the winner of the TV category Best Actor at ‘The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards’ was Hyun Bin, who delivered an overwhelming performance in ‘Made in Korea’. As presenters, last year's winners Ju Ji-hoon and Kim Tae-ri came on stage to offer their congratulations.

Taking the stage, Hyun Bin said, “Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the drama,” and “The director said that during ‘Harbin’ we couldn't simply enjoy it, so this time let's enjoy everything we couldn't before. Looking back on the time I spent as Baek Gi-tae, the set was intense, but I was happy within it.”

He then credited the actors and production team he worked with, and at the end of his speech he drew cheers with a heartfelt declaration to his family. He said, “Above all, to my wife Ye-jin sitting in front, and to our beloved son, thank you for supporting me so well during filming, and I love you.”

As Hyun Bin delivered his speech, Son Ye-jin, seated in the audience, was captured on camera personally filming her husband's glorious moment on her phone. The sight of the two displaying unwavering trust and love for each other deeply moved viewers.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin concluded his remarks by heightening anticipation for his next project, saying, “Our story isn't over yet. Season 2 will arrive this fall, so please look forward to it.”
