Along with words of thanks to her fans, she also shared her new daily life. She said, “Thanks to the fans who wished happiness for me, Sian, and Haean and cheered us on warmly, the children and I have built a new family with a truly good person and are creating precious smiles and happiness within the ordinary.”
As for why she had not shared the news of her remarriage until now, she explained, “There were times I was cautious, worried it might become noisy,” and “Although I didn’t want to announce it in a loud way, I realized it was also important to properly let you know how I am living now, so I gathered the courage.”
In particular, as Children’s Day and Parents’ Day passed in May, she revealed that various thoughts about family crossed her mind, hinting at a strengthened inner self as a wife and mother.
Kang said, “As the youngest daughter among my parents’ four children as they approach 80, the mother of two elementary schoolaged boys born a year apart, and the wife in a family we will newly build, I also spent solemn and heavy days wondering what mindset I should have,” but added, “In the end, the most important and easiest way was my own happiness.”
Lastly, she said, “Even the days when I’m not happy are a part of my one-and-only precious life, so I will fold them up neatly and carry on firmly,” adding, “Buoyed by the precious support you’ve sent, I will become even happier.”
