Actor Park Jung-min shared an embarrassing anecdote from a business trip to Japan.

On the 10th, the YouTube channel ‘Publisher MUZE’ released a video titled ‘I visited a bookstore in Tokyo’. In the video, Park Jung-min shared that he was visiting Tokyo, Japan, for publishing-related work.

In the video, he explained, “I handled various tasks with editors at Japanese publishing houses, and on my day off I plan to visit a bookstore in Ginza.” He then brought up an episode that happened on a street in Japan, saying, “Something really embarrassing happened yesterday.”

Park Jung-min said, “While walking down the street, I saw something like a campaign notice posted, and a poster featuring the face of a woman caught my eye,” and added, “Curious, I was trying to capture it with an image-translation app when someone next to me suddenly said, ‘Hello?’”

He continued, “When I turned around, there was a Korean woman and her daughter,” and said, “She asked, ‘Are you taking it because she is pretty?’ I was so flustered that I explained, ‘No, it was just that the poster was stuck there so out of place.’”

He also shared that the woman introduced Park Jung-min to her daughter as ‘Goodbye Uncle’, and the child replied, “I know him too.” Park recalled, “I immediately lowered my phone,” remembering how awkward he felt at the time.

He added, “Posters for the other candidates focused on pledges, but that poster alone had a pink mood, with photos of a dog and a cat and an SNS QR code,” and continued, “It was so distinctive that I found it fascinating.”
