Models Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung signaled the full-fledged start of their Paris Fashion Week bid, revealing their aura beneath the Eiffel Tower.
The MBC variety show ‘Sora and Jinkyung’ unveiled its main poster on the 11th. In the released poster, Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung strike confident poses against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, the symbol of Paris, drawing attention. Their refined styling and relaxed expressions revealed a presence befitting supermodels who represented the 1990s.
Previously, in ‘Sora and Jinkyung’ aired on the 10th, the two succeeded in heading to Paris after receiving responses from three agencies based on the snap photos and walking videos they sent to local agencies, and then passing online interviews. At the time, Lee So-ra expressed her resolve, saying, “A challenge to myself,” and “I want to make sure I seize the second chance I missed 30 years ago,” while Hong Jin-kyung stated her ambition: “I want to break the prejudice that only young models can stand on stage.”
In episode 4, set to air on the 17th, the two will jump back into competition as rookie models among models in their 20s gathered from around the world. The released teaser also included scenes of local agents delivering cold assessments: “Everything has changed”, “You need to show a new side.”
The production team said, “Starting next week, Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung will enter a full-fledged audition war through local agencies,” and added, “Please stay tuned to the end to see whether they can stand on the Paris Fashion Week runway.”
