Though it billed itself as a grand festival for singles, it wasn’t only singles. Singles, couples, and families gathered to bathe sunny Maytime Yeouido in sky blue and pink.
The marathon event ‘2026 I Am SOLO Run’ for the romance reality program ‘I Am SOLO’, aired on ENA and SBS Plus, wrapped up successfully.

Held on the 9th around Yeouido, Seoul, the ‘2026 I Am SOLO Run’ proceeded amid fervent interest, drawing about 6,000 registered participants. Hosts Song Hae-na and Lee Yi-kyung, along with 17 cast members, joined the run, further elevating the mood.
Registration, which opened on March 19, surpassed 3,500 in just one week. By fusing the ‘I Am SOLO’ universe with today’s popular running culture, the event drew attention as a distinctive marathon that combined running with variety entertainment content.

Male participants wore sky-blue T-shirts with names symbolizing male cast members such as ‘Young-cheol’, ‘Young-ho’, ‘Gwang-su’, and ‘Sang-cheol’, while female participants wore pink T-shirts with names symbolizing female cast members such as ‘Young-suk’, ‘Jeong-suk’, ‘Sun-ja’, and ‘Ok-sun’. Starting at the Yeouido Culture Yard, they ran a total 10㎞ course, turning back near Seogang Bridge.
On site, various events and prize drawings were also held. In addition, merchandise reflecting the program’s universe, including the official ‘I Am SOLO’ umbrella and a half-heart finisher’s medal, was provided and well received.

After the run, there was a live performance by the group ‘The Worms’, featured on the ‘I Am SOLO’ OST, along with an introduction segment and a final-choice event for singles selected through advance applications.
MC Song Hae-na said, “Seeing names like ‘Sun-ja’ and ‘Young-cheol’ on today’s bib numbers made me feel as if I had come to a massive filming set, so I enjoyed every moment of the run,” and added, “It was a meaningful time to communicate and run together with so many people brimming with healthy energy, and it gave me even more strength as an MC. I hope today’s encounters become a precious beginning for everyone.”

Lee Yi-kyung also said, “Running has been receiving a lot of love lately, and I was all the more glad and honored to experience it firsthand through ‘I Am SOLO’, with which I have maintained ties for a long time,” adding, “I hope everyone had an enjoyable time without injuries, and I will be rooting for you to spend your days healthy and safe.”
Taking part in the run on site and recording an impressive time in the low 1-hour range, ENA CEO Kim Ho-sang said, “It was a meaningful case that showed the potential to expand the ‘I Am SOLO’ IP,” adding, “Going forward, we will present a broader array of content and events that more ‘Young-cheol’ and ‘Ok-sun’ can enjoy together.”
