Actor Choi Ji-woo has lost her father.

According to the entertainment industry on the 12th, Choi Ji-woo's father, Choi Un-yong, passed away on the 11th after a long illness.

It is reported that Choi Ji-woo is listed as a chief mourner along with her mother, older brother, husband, and daughter, and is keeping vigil at the wake.

The wake has been arranged in the special room of the Haeundae Hospital funeral hall in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The funeral will be solemnly held at 6 a.m. on the 14th and, after passing through Yeongnak Park, the burial will take place at the Daejeon National Cemetery.

Meanwhile, Choi Ji-woo, who debuted in 1995 with the drama ‘War and Love’, gained widespread popularity through the drama ‘Winter Sonata’. She later married a non-celebrity nine years her junior in 2018 and has one daughter.
