Kim Ji-yoon, the biological older sister of BLACKPINK member Jisoo, made her first appearance on a survival program.

In the May 12 broadcast of ‘tvN Kill It: Style Creator War’ (hereinafter ‘Kill It’), 100 of the hottest creators in the fashion scene launched into full-scale competition.

The episode unveiled Kim Ji-yoon’s application video tagged with the keyword ‘Celeb Family’ and the hashtag ‘#BLACKPINK_Jisoo_older_sister’. She then appeared in a look pairing a black dress with red stockings, drawing attention as she repeatedly covered her mouth with a shy smile.

In an interview with the production team, Kim Ji-yoon said, “My younger sibling is the well-known BLACKPINK Jisoo,” adding, “I think she might be nervous together with me.” She continued, “‘Will I be able to do well? I will do well,’ I think she will watch while believing that, while feeling nervous together.”

She also explained the day’s fashion concept, saying, “Today my fashion gave a red accent with the feeling of ‘I will crush them all’.”

However, reactions from participants were cool-headed. With many contestants already using similar strategies, one participant commented, “To be honest, I do not think Ms. Kim Ji-yoon appeared to be a competitor.”

Meanwhile, Kill It: Style Creator War airs every Tuesday at 10:10 p.m., and it is released on Tving immediately after the broadcast.
