Broadcaster Pungja revealed their experience with nose surgery and their candid feelings about it.
On the 12th, a video titled ‘Depression and Lethargy’ was released on the YouTube channel ‘Pungja TV’. In the video, Pungja received accounts of concerns from viewers and took time to share their experiences and thoughts. In particular, when a story from a fan considering nose surgery came up, Pungja said, “This is my specialty. As I have always said, I have had my nose done five times. Regarding plastic surgery, I have tried so many things that I wonder if there is anything I have not tried in life,” candidly sharing their experience without reservation.
While emphasizing that they were not encouraging cosmetic procedures, Pungja explained, “Plastic surgery is about personal satisfaction. When I talk about my nose, opinions on the internet are split exactly in half. Half say ‘it is excessive, not good, looks like Pinocchio’, and the other 50% say ‘it is fine, it suits the face’.” They continued, “I have never been swayed by such opinions. In fact, I do not have much interest. It is my satisfaction.”

Regarding the current state of their nose, they added, “After five procedures, I am most satisfied with my nose now. I have no plan to do it again, and every time I look at it, I think it was done well.” However, they also spoke honestly about side effects and practical risks. Pungja said, “Although I am satisfied with my nose now, there are side effects. Scar tissue is visible inside, and it also feels a bit artificial,” and added, “Saying plastic surgery can succeed 100% is a lie. It can fail, you may not like it, and there can be side effects.”
Pungja also offered practical advice for people considering surgery. “I am not inciting you to have surgery no matter what, but if an appearance complex lowers your self-esteem, it may be fine to proceed. However, you must be able to factor in various possibilities, such as side effects or the probability of failure.”
Drawing on their own experience, Pungja urged caution, saying, “You have to consider that you might need revision surgery. You should allow for multiple scenarios, including extreme ones.”
