Back home, Kim Shin-young shouts, “My house! My world!” and switches into ‘homebody mode’. After tidying up from shoes to clothes, she ties her hair into two sections in the bathroom, dons a mysterious device(?), and boldly gives herself a self haircut that steals the spotlight. “It’s been 10 years since I started buzzing it myself,” she says, astonishing everyone as she shaves the back of her head guided only by the feel of her hands. Anticipation is high for how Kim Shin-young’s haircut skillsset to deliver a fresh shock to the Rainbow members following Kian84’s self haircutwill measure up.
Kim Shin-young also unveils her self-care routine for the summer. She draws attention by revealing a full course on managing sweat-prone underarms and feet, and even how to deal with scalp odor at the crown. She will also share the ‘stash must-haves’ she always keeps on hand, piquing curiosity.
Meanwhile, down with a cold and coughing, Kim Shin-young declares, “Even if I’m sick, what needs to be done must be done!” and grabs a rag to start cleaning the bathroom. Even after work, she leaves no time to rest, meticulously scrubbing the sink, toilet, shower booth, bathtub, and floor, a sight that is expected to draw admiration.
Kim Shin-young’s ‘homebody routine’, which truly begins only after she gets off work, can be seen on MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ at 11:10 p.m. on the 15th.
