Musical theater actor Kim Hwan-Hee will become a ‘May bride’.
On the 14th, Kim Hwan-Hee posted a handwritten letter on her social media (SNS) and let her fans be the first to hear about her marriage.
In the letter released that day, Kim Hwan-Hee said, “On May 18, I plan to begin the second act of my life,” and announced, “Yes, everyone, I am getting married.”
Introducing her fianc, she wrote that he is “the person who made me feel assured that even worries would be an enjoyable part of the journey if I were to spend my life with him,” and explained the background of her decision to marry: “Rather than seeking perfection, we came to tie the knot with the belief that we can build a beautiful and healthy life based on our own values.”
She also expressed deep gratitude and affection toward her fandom, ‘Hwanrang-i’. Kim Hwan-Hee said, “Thank you for always sending great support and love, no matter the news,” and added, “If you bless this beginning and join me with joyful hearts, I think I could be happier than ever.”
Debuting in 2015 with the musical ‘Fantasia’, Kim Hwan-Hee has since appeared in a string of major productions, including ‘Matsuko’s Hateful Life’, ‘Tomorrow Morning’, ‘Bernarda Alba’, ‘Hadestown’, ‘Kinky Boots’, ‘Mamma Mia’, and ‘Rent’.
