Backlash over the 31st cohort of ‘I Am Solo’ is intensifying. As Sun-ja even ended up in the ER with a stress-induced gastric spasm, the teaser went on to show Young-suk’s harsh remarks, enraging viewers.
In the teaser for next week aired on the 13th, Kyung-su was shown rescinding his promise to use the super date pass with Young-suk.
Kyung-su told Young-suk, “Seeing how much Ms. Sun-ja is struggling made me think I should focus on one person,” saying he felt he should use the super date pass on Sun-ja.
As Kyung-su appeared to be changing his stance, Young-suk’s emotions began to surge.
Later in the room, Young-suk told the other cast members, “After Ms. Sun-ja cried, Mr. Kyung-su came to me and said it might be hard to use the ‘super date pass’ on me,” relaying the situation.
She went on, “Then why did I run for this? Didn’t I run to use it on him?” and even directly showed the injuries she got from falling during the running contest for the ‘super date pass’.
Eventually, Young-suk crossed a line, saying, “(Like Sun-ja) should I have a full-on sobbing fit too?” Watching this, Defconn pointed out, “If you felt wronged, you should have come in first.”

But the situation flipped again: a scene showed Kyung-su calling Young-suk aside once more.
Seeing the two talk again, the panelists grew tense, saying, “Could it be that he reversed the cancellation of the super date pass?”
The next day, footage also showed Kyung-su and Young-suk unable to stop laughing. When Young-suk asked, “How precious is every minute and second?” Kyung-su smiled and answered, “Very precious.”
When Young-suk added, “Is this not like a novel?” Kyung-su responded, “Yes,” heightening curiosity about the change in their relationship.
The 31st cohort’s romance, made even more tangled by the ‘super date pass’, continues on May 20 (Wed.) at 10:30 p.m. on ENA and SBS Plus’s ‘I Am Solo’.
