Kim Gu-ra revealed an exceptional passion for educating his 5-year-old late-born daughter.

On the May 13 broadcast of MBC Radio Star, a special titled ‘Teachers’ Day: The Fiery Priests’ featured Seo Kyung-seok, Choi Tae-sung, Kim Sung-eun, and Hwang Min-ho.

That day, Kim Gu-ra spoke about how his views on education had changed from when he was raising his first son, Gree (real name Kim Dong-hyun). He said, “When raising Dong-hyun, I did not make him study. It was because he had been on TV from a young age.”

However, it was different for his 5-year-old late-born daughter. Kim Gu-ra said, “We have our second daughter study. The child is smart.”

He then introduced his daughter’s distinctive personality, drawing laughs. He said, “Among ghost videos, I showed her one that says ‘Give me back my leg,’ and when I jokingly said ‘Give me back my leg,’ my daughter replied, ‘Take care of your own leg; why say that to me.’”

With a satisfied smile, Kim Gu-ra looked toward the camera and exclaimed, “Yes, you are my daughter.”

Meanwhile, Kim Gu-ra remarried in 2020 to a non-celebrity 12 years his junior, and in 2021 welcomed a late-born daughter. He had previously revealed that his daughter attends an English kindergarten and that “the monthly tuition alone costs about $1,350 (1,800,000 KRW).”

He also recently drew attention on YouTube by saying, “We even visited an international school in Songdo to consider enrolling our daughter.”
