Broadcaster and model Hong Jin-kyung said on air, “AI is the scariest thing in the world.” Neuroscientist Professor Kim Dae-shik warned Hong Jin-kyung that she could become the top target for elimination by AI.

On Thursday the 14th at 8:30 p.m. on KBS2, ‘Problem Children of the Rooftop Room’ will feature KAIST neuroscientist Professor Kim Dae-shik, who will talk with regular members Song Eun-yi, Kim Sook, Kim Jong-kook, Hong Jin-kyung, Joo Woo-jae, and Yang Se-chan.

On the show, Kim Sook draws attention as she shares that she once sought real estate advice from AI. Kim Sook said, “I asked AI about housing prices and it lied,” and asked AI expert Professor Kim Dae-shik how to reduce AI errors.

Following Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung also said, “I have asked AI about asset management,” confessing her experience of seeking financial advice from AI.

In response, Professor Kim Dae-shik said, ”Most of what AI tells you is a lie“, and unveiled a special method to reduce AI errors. In this era of a major AI shift, how to make good use of AI, as conveyed by Professor Kim Dae-shik, can be confirmed through the broadcast.

Professor Kim mentioned a shocking future that could unfold if advanced AI, AGI (artificial general intelligence), emerges. When ChatGPT, one of the AI models, was released, Professor Kim Dae-shik, who had signed a petition opposing AI development, confided, “If AGI starts eliminating humanity, I will be the first on the list for elimination“, sending the rooftop room into shock.

Professor Kim also warned the MCs, “Even appearing on a show with me could be risky. In particular, Ms. Hong Jin-kyung, like me, could become the top target for elimination by AI,” upon which Hong Jin-kyung said, “AI is the scariest thing in the world,” overcome with fear.
