Mnet ‘M Countdown’ broadcast screen capture

The four-member global girl group CrazAngel brought ‘Picasso’, revived on their own stage, to completion with a performance that shone brighter than the artwork itself. With the stature of a ‘complete-package idol’ proven through ‘Picasso’, they created a powerful stage that left a distinctive aura and lingering impression.

CrazAngel (Solmi, Daze, Shani, A-eon) appeared on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ aired on the 14th and performed the title track ‘Picasso’ from their first mini album ‘Picasso’.

Taking the stage in pastel-toned balletcore styling, CrazAngel completed a multidimensional performance reminiscent of Picasso’s works through each member’s distinctive tone and diverse choreography.

CrazAngel proved solid fundamentals with a highly polished performance and unwavering vocals. Movements that used the hands to frame the face or evoked the elegance of viewing a work of art stood out, while the members constantly changed positions, filling the stage with dynamic choreography. Even amid intense choreography, they delivered steady live vocals, and the addictive melody of the chorus left a deep impression.

‘Picasso’ is an album that expands the narrative begun with the debut single ‘I’m Just Me’, and CrazAngel infused the overall concept with the spirit of challenge of painter Pablo Picasso, who broke existing molds and viewed subjects from new perspectives.

The eponymous title track tells a story of confronting oneself amid confusion and growing pains and, in the process, recovering precious things that had been forgotten and newly discovering oneself.

CrazAngel will continue meeting fans as they promote their first mini album ‘Picasso’ through various music programs.
