The idol group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)'s 8th mini album has received ‘Platinum’ certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. This marks a total of 16 Gold Disc certifications, proving their steadfast popularity.

According to the May 15 announcement by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai)'s 8th mini album ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket’ surpassed cumulative shipments of 250,000 units as of April, earning Gold Disc ‘Platinum’ certification. They have received Gold Disc certifications for a total of 16 albums, demonstrating their solid popularity in the local market.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards Gold Disc certifications each month based on cumulative shipments: Gold (100,000+), Platinum (250,000+), Double Platinum (500,000+), Triple Platinum (750,000+), and Million (1,000,000+).

TOMORROW X TOGETHER hold a total of 16 Gold Disc-certified releases, including ‘CHIKAI’い/치카이), which has reached ‘Triple Platinum’, ‘The Star Chapter: TOGETHER’, ‘Starkissed’, ‘SWEET’, and ‘GOOD BOY GONE BAD’, which earned ‘Double Platinum’, and ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket’, ‘The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY’ (Sanctuary), ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’, ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION’, and ‘Chaotic Wonderland’, which received ‘Platinum’.
The 8th mini album took No. 1 on Oricon's April 27 ‘Weekly Combined Albums Ranking’, ‘Weekly Albums Ranking’, and ‘Weekly Western Music Albums Ranking’, earning tremendous love. It topped the ‘Weekly Combined Albums Ranking’ for the 14th time in total, tying the all-time record for the most No. 1 finishes among both Japanese and overseas artists.
On the 11th, TOMORROW X TOGETHER drew attention with a performance of the 8th mini album's title track ‘One More Day a Day (Stick With You)’ on TBS ‘CDTV Live! Live!’, a flagship Japanese music program. They will also hold the special concert marking their 7th debut anniversary, ‘2026 TXT MOA CON IN JAPAN’. Starting with Aichi on the 23~24, followed by Chiba on the 27~28, Fukuoka on June 16~17, and Hyogo on June 23~24, it will be held eight times across four cities. Among these, the Aichi performance on May 24 has been set for Live Viewing, with a live broadcast in 53 countries/regions worldwide.
With the new release, TOMORROW X TOGETHER ranked No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard main albums chart, the ‘Billboard 200’ (dated May 2), and stayed on the chart for two consecutive weeks, showcasing their prowess. They have placed a total of 13 releases on this chart.
