The girl group Queenz Eye, set to make a comeback on the 28th, has unveiled the tracklist for their new release 'PRISM EP.02'.
Featuring a global, star-studded team of producers from Sean Cook to Ready, the new album is defined by a coming-of-age narrative layered over a Y2K mood.
On the 15th, via social media, Queenz Eye revealed the tracklist image for their second episode album 'PRISM EP.02' (Prism Episode.02). The released image carries a pink-tinged retro sensibility and graphics reminiscent of 2000s MP3 players, maximizing Queenz Eye's unique kitschy and trendy mood.
According to the tracklist, the album includes seven tracks in total: the title track 'Y2K', 'LBD', 'THIS IS LOVE (KOR ver.)', 'THIS IS LOVE (ENG ver.)', 'Y2K (Sped Up ver.)', 'Y2K (Inst.)', and 'LBD (Inst.)'. With visuals that look as if an old music player screen has been recreated, along with pixel fonts and neon colors, it visually presents the concept of the title track 'Y2K', drawing attention.

The album heightens anticipation with a lavish lineup of producers who have worked on global hits. Overseas hitmakers including producer Sean Cook, the creator of Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', and Jason Hahs, who has worked with RIIZE, IVE, and NCT DREAM, took part to elevate the album's completeness. In addition, the choreography for the title track 'Y2K' was bolstered by choreographer Root, who worked on aespa's 'Dirty Work', Hearts2Hearts' 'FOCUS', and kiiikiii's '404 (New Era)', and choreographer Ready, who worked on YENA's 'Nemo Nemo' and kiiikiii's '404 (New Era)', further raising the performance quality.
The title track 'Y2K' is a pop-anthem song that reinterprets the sparkling sensibilities of the early 2000s in a contemporary style. With an addictive melody, witty lyrics, and free-spirited energy, it unfolds Queenz Eye's take on nostalgia for cassette players and carefree days.
The b-side 'LBD', short for 'Little Black Dress', is a dance-pop track that embodies a confident attitude. Electronic sounds, poppy synth rhythms, and refreshing vocals come together to deliver dazzling energy. Another b-side, 'THIS IS LOVE', captures the flutter and emotions of feeling love for the first time, with members Wonchae and A-yun directly participating in lyric writing to add authenticity and the team's own sensibility.
Queenz Eye has begun the comeback countdown by sequentially releasing stylish trailers and content. This 'PRISM EP.02' captures the musical growth the group has painstakingly built over time and a clearer team color, heralding an expanded musical spectrum and a highly polished transformation based on a Y2K retro mood.
