Singer Byeolsarang personally shared her pregnancy news.
On the 17th, Byeolsarang announced on SNS, “A new life has found its way to me,” revealing her pregnancy. She is currently 16 weeks along and has entered the stable period; the baby is nicknamed ‘Ppogi’, and the sex is a boy.
She said, “I deliberated for a long time about when and how to bring it up,” and carefully began, “I wanted to tell the fans who have always sent support and love first.” She continued, “It still feels so amazing that it is hard to believe, and I am spending each day with a grateful heart.”
She also spoke candidly about the difficulties of early pregnancy. Byeolsarang confessed, “My body and mind have changed a lot from before, and I have become sensitive even to small changes,” and “At first, there were times when it was not easy, to the point that walking was difficult due to pelvic pain.” However, she added, “My condition is gradually recovering, and when I step onto the stage I actually feel more joyful and energized,” revealing her affection for the stage.
She also emphasized her gratitude toward fans. She said, “The moments of singing on stage, the times we smiled while making eye contact with fans, and the support you sent whenever things were hard have made me who I am now,” and “Even if there are brief moments of collapse and despair, it was the greatest strength that allowed me to return to happiness in the end.”
She added, “There may be moments when I cannot be as active as before for a while, but I want to walk through even that time honestly together with fans,” and “Going forward, I still love singing and love my fans, and I want to grow further and share deeper music.” She continued, “Please send warm support so that both the baby and I can stay healthy and well.”
Meanwhile, Byeolsarang debuted in 2017 with the single ‘Tear Flower’ and made her name known by finishing sixth on the TV Chosun program ‘Miss Trot 2’ and placing in the TOP 7 on MBN’s ‘Active Singer King’. She also married a non-celebrity one year her senior last September.
