H1GHR MUSIC rookie artist Simaron showcases a captivating musical palette with the new single ‘Repeat Sign’.
On the 18th at 12 p.m., Simaron releases the new single ‘Repeat Sign (Feat. pH-1)’ through various online music services.
‘Repeat Sign’ is the first new release in five months since Simaron unveiled ‘Voluntary Outsider’ last December. As with the previous work, Simaron again participated directly in writing lyrics and composing, carrying forward an identity as a singer-songwriter. In particular, the song unfolds a unique color through delicate emotions and musical language.
This ‘Repeat Sign’ uses the musical notation symbol called a repeat sign to metaphorically portray the recurring pain of love. It depicts an emotional loop of arguing, regretting, and yet ultimately failing to let go of the relationship, returning to the starting point. The lyrics, which frankly and calmly capture the cycle of pushing away and pulling back, summon a love almost everyone has experienced at least once and evoke broad empathy. Following a soft, fluffy-textured sound and an effortlessly catchy melody, Simaron delivers addictiveness with groovy rap and vocals.
Simaron is an emerging artist who has built solid skills through time as a trainee at a major agency and activities in the underground scene. In 2024, Simaron joined H1GHR MUSIC and released the debut EP ‘Charye’, composed entirely of six self-written tracks, and in the same year appeared in songwriting and composing credits on Jay Park’s album, thereby demonstrating capability.
On the new single ‘Repeat Sign’, pH-1, loved for trendy singing-rap, takes the feature role and, together with Simaron, completes a three-dimensional emotional line. The two artists under the same label at H1GHR MUSIC interlock their different tones and modes of expression to create a natural variation, proving strong seniorjunior synergy.
Having proven skills through the debut EP and various collaborations, Simaron signals with ‘Repeat Sign’ a more mature emotional expression and lyrical depth, showing the building of a personal musical world. A representative from the agency said, “Simaron will continue to unfold a personal story through self-written songs,” expressing expectations for future activities.
‘Repeat Sign’, the single with which Simaron will cement a musical direction as a singer-songwriter, will be available on various online music services from noon on the 18th. Then at 6 p.m. the same day, the ‘Repeat Sign’ visualizer video is scheduled to be released through the official YouTube channel of H1GHR MUSIC.
