Actor Ryu Hae-jun delivered a powerful shock.

In episode 9 of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Scarecrow’, aired on the 18th, Ryu Hae-jun delicately portrayed the detective ‘Park Dae-ho’, wavering before the wall of reality, deepening immersion in the story.

In this broadcast, Dae-ho drew a line with Kang Tae-ju (played by Park Hae-soo), signaling a change in the air. He tried to dissuade Tae-ju, who was pursuing the truth of the Hye-jin (played by Lee A-rin) case, and when ordered to direct the search operation, he blurted out his true feelings, saying, “I do not want to. Then the truth Dae-ho had been hiding was revealed. Unable to withstand pressure from Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-jun), Jang Myeong-do (played by Jeon Jae-hong), and Do Hyeong-gu (played by Kim Eun-woo), he took part in the crime of burying the body of Hye-jin. The day before the search, he removed the body out of guilt, but when it disappeared, he could not hide his bewilderment. In the end, Tae-ju caught on to the entire process, driving Dae-ho to the brink and heightening the tension of the drama.

Ryu Hae-jun densely conveyed the psychology of an ‘imperfect youth’ collapsing from wrong choices. He convincingly depicted the complex emotional arc of a person crushed by guilt yet, in the end, bound to become cowardly, through trembling eyes and unsteady breathing.

In particular, Ryu Hae-jun went beyond a mere accomplice character, realistically capturing the tragedy of youth who have lost their way in the face of reality, leaving a strong lingering resonance.

Meanwhile, the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Scarecrow’, featuring Ryu Hae-jun, who has asserted his presence with meticulous psychological acting, will air episode 10 today (the 19th) at 10 p.m.
