Young-suk of ENA·SBS Plus variety show ‘I'm Solo’ Season 31 asked Young-ho for advice on her dilemma.
On the 19th, the YouTube channel ‘Chonjang Entertainment TV’ released a video titled ‘※Unaired※ Answers only YES OR NO❗ Young-ho's counseling-king moment for the conflicted Young-suk’. The video showed Young-suk and Young-ho talking in the shared living room at the accommodation after finishing the fourth day of dates. Sitting next to Young-ho, Young-suk opened up about her concerns surrounding Kyung-su.
Young-suk said, “Soon-ja and Kyung-su have already been on three dates, but my first date was many-to-one,” and added, “The gist of what Kyung-su said was ‘I am not strongly into you, but I want to talk with you,’ but to me, it looks like his feelings for Soon-ja are bigger.”

She continued, “His actions and gestures seem to lean toward Soon-ja, but since he says he wants to talk with me more, I do not know how far that word ‘curious’ goes in meaning.” In response, Young-ho answered calmly, “A dilemma usually arises when I have to make some decision, but right now it seems like you do not really have anything to worry about.”
Young-ho asked, “What is the outcome you want?” and Young-suk candidly admitted, “To win Kyung-su's heart.” Then Young-ho said, “In that case, it seems right to just do your best and try,” and advised, “Rather than not doing anything because you worry about failing, if Kyung-su earns the Super Date ticket and uses it on you, how about you also try as much as you can?”
However, Young-suk voiced her anxiety: “Will the other person's feelings change just because I make an effort? I do not think so.” Young-ho then asked back, “If we assume I know the answer and I say ‘no,’ would you give up right away?” and Young-suk replied, “I think I would.”

When Young-suk said, “If his feelings are not going to change, I would rather he just tell me so,” Young-ho offered another dose of realism: “It seems hard to change someone else's feelings,” adding, “In the end, what matters is not the other person but how I will act.” He then added, “It is right to ask clearly and get an answer.”
Recently, every time ‘I'm Solo’ Season 31 airs, it has been on the chopping block due to conflicts among the cast and an ‘ostracism controversy.’ Perhaps mindful of this atmosphere, the YouTube comments for the unaired clip in question are closed.
However, the content of the video spread quickly across social media and online communities. Netizens reacted with comments such as, “It sounds like a conversation between an ordinary woman and an engineering student,” “Getting advice from the person with the least dating experience,” “Saying it is not a dilemma because there is nothing to worry about is so funny,” and “Young-ho unexpectedly gives practical advice well.”
Meanwhile, Young-ho of ‘I'm Solo’ Season 31 also experienced unintended blowback as speculation spread that he and Ok-soon, who stood at the center of the ‘ostracism controversy,’ were the ‘final couple’ and a ‘real-life couple (hyunkeo).’ The overheated reaction itself became controversial as some netizens even left malicious reviews on the review page of the dental clinic Young-ho operates, leading to so-called ‘review terror.’
