‘Singles Inferno 5’ agency head for Im Subin called out Kim Min-ji.

On the 20th, Lee Seo-jun, the agency head for Im Subin, through his Instagram Story directly tagged the account of Kim Min-ji and stated, “Hello, Min-ji. What is your intent in using such footage without any consultation or sharing with our company? I became aware of it through reports from fans, and it is very disconcerting.” He then added, “Please refrain from mentioning our actor Im Subin going forward.”

The scene at the center of the controversy is part of a video recently uploaded to her YouTube channel titled ‘Decorating a two-room, 11-pyeong apartment full of Kim Min-ji vibes’. In the video, while choosing a bed to place in her apartment together with Woo Seong-min, Kim Min-ji lay on a model identical to the one used in the Paradise on Netflix ‘Singles Inferno 5’ and mentioned the Paradise scene with Im Subin.

Kim Min-ji recalled the moment with a laugh, saying, “Subin did come to an expensive hotel, after all; perhaps she wanted to try lying on the bed? I should have been the one to go.” A brief insert of the Paradise date scene in ‘Singles Inferno 5’ in which Kim Min-ji and Im Subin were lying side by side on the bed and talking was also included.

However, reactions from netizens after the agency head’s public call-out were chilly. Some commenters said, “It was a televised scene, so why tell her not to mention it,” “I have never seen an agency head personally step in,” and “This seems like an overly sensitive reaction.”
