Singer and producer Rhymer (legal name Kim Se-hwan) shared how he feels three years after divorcing broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo.
On the 20th, Rhymer appeared on singer K.Will’s YouTube channel “The Sister-in-Law Is K.Will.” The episode aired under the title “Did you call me for this? I turned down all the divorce talk shows…”
Addressing divorce to the unmarried K.Will, he said, “(Divorce) seems to have its pros and cons. I don’t think there’s any such thing as a bad experience in this world, but there are experiences you don’t necessarily need to have.”

He said, “I felt very sorry to my family, especially my parents. Marriage isn’t just a matter between two people; it’s two families forming a new family. So I felt sorry to my family.”
Signaling that he won’t shy away from remarriage, Rhymer said, “I’m dreaming of new love anyway, and I want to meet a good person and build a family. I think I’ve developed a better eye for what’s important to me when that time comes.”
Rhymer married broadcaster and former journalist Ahn Hyun-mo in 2017, but they divorced in 2023 after six years of marriage.
At the time, the two cited personality differences as the reason for their divorce and said the process proceeded amicably through a mutual-consent divorce.
