As unaired footage from the ENA·SBS Plus variety show ‘I Am Solo’ 31st class was released, viewers are piling on criticism over Young-ho’s behavior.
On the 24th, the YouTube channel ‘Chonjang Entertainment TV’ posted a video titled ‘※Unaired※ Diligent men Gwang-su and Sang-cheol who sort recyclables for five days straight’. The video captured the daily lives of the 31st class contestants living in the shared lodging.

That day, in the lodging, Sang-cheol asked, “Who wants to take out the trash?” and Gwang-su replied, “Let’s gather the bags and go,” then began sorting the recyclables. Gwang-su then followed behind Sang-cheol, who had headed out first to throw away the trash, and joined him in the recycling. By contrast, Young-ho, who was in the same space, drew attention as he made himself coffee instead of helping with the cleaning.

After that, Gwang-su and Sang-cheol sat side by side, drank coffee, and watched how things were going with Sun-ja and Kyung-su. When Sang-cheol said, “I wonder what will happen with Kyung-su,” Gwang-su replied, “Kyung-su will also choose the person he feels drawn to,” and the two continued their easygoing chat.
Then Jung-suk appeared and asked, “Could you help with the recycling?” and Sang-cheol and Gwang-su readily agreed. Jung-suk told the two, “You two always do the recycling,” and later Gwang-su said, “Once everyone heads out, I am going to cook with Sun-ja. There are not many ingredients left, but we will make the most of them and enjoy a good meal.”
After the video was released, comments continued to criticize Young-ho’s attitude. Viewers wrote, “They ask who will take out the trash, and he does not even pretend to hear,” “Some people clean while others just drink coffee,” “Young-ho should help with the recycling, too,” and “Have you never lived in a group setting?” among other reactions.
In contrast, Gwang-su and Sang-cheol drew praise such as, “They are both really diligent,” “They give off an elderly-couple vibe,” “Their conversation scenes are funny and peaceful,” and “I hope they meet even better matches elsewhere.”
ENA·SBS Plus variety show ‘I Am Solo’
Earlier in the broadcast, Young-ho maintained a sweet, flirtatious vibe with Ok-sun, prompting speculation that they might become the final couple and even rumors of a ‘real-life couple’. However, Ok-sun became embroiled in a ‘talking behind someone’s back’ controversy over remarks about Sun-ja throughout the show, sparking debate among viewers. Since then, some viewers’ responses toward Young-ho have also cooled.
Meanwhile, at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 27th, SBS Plus and ENA’s ‘I Am Solo’ will reveal the 31st class’s final choices.
