Choi Jun-hee, daughter of actress Choi Jin-sil and an influencer, stated her position after controversy arose over a Starbucks proof shot she posted while enjoying her honeymoon in the United States following her recent marriage.

On the 27th, through her SNS (social networking service), she said, “Cut it out. What unresolved grudge do you think I have that I would post a proof shot about that incident?”, adding, “There was a Starbucks at Universal, and I simply bought that.”

She continued, “I was almost bare-faced (without makeup) that day, so I just wanted to cover my face with the cup for the photo,” emphasizing, “Between working and going on my honeymoon, I do not have time to dwell on that Starbucks issue.”

She added, “It is a trip to the United States; I do not understand why it leads to such incendiary articles about whether someone buys coffee or not,” voicing dissatisfaction with some outlets that read her photo as support for Starbucks.

Earlier, while on her honeymoon in the United States, Choi visited Universal Studios in Los Angeles and posted a photo holding a Starbucks beverage cup. Some outlets linked it to the recent Starbucks ‘Tank Day’ marketing controversy, bringing up past remarks by Choi and reporting as if she had shown support for Starbucks.

On the 16th, Choi held a wedding ceremony with a non-celebrity man 11 years her senior at a hotel in the Gangnam District of Seoul.
